Guanming is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Health Outcomes & Policy. She got her Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from China Pharmaceutical University. Prior to enrollment in the Ph.D. program, she had an internship and consulting work at Genentech. Her research projects there included developing a database for oncology patients with organ dysfunction and cassette dosing used in rat brain microdialysis.
Guanming is interested in the big picture of health policy. Her research interests are in health economics and patient report outcomes. In the future, she would like to investigate cancer-related health outcomes improvement and its utilization of providing affordable treatment plans for patients. Her goal is to help people benefit from the significant amount of new findings in healthcare research.
