HOBI grad student discusses the value of summer internships in industry

Boya Lin, a Ph.D. student at HOBI, is working as an intern this summer with the Experiential Internship Program at AbbVie, a research-based global biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Chicago. Modave joins UF Faculty Senate

François Modave was elected to serve on the UF Faculty Senate. This governing body of faculty representatives from UF’s 16 colleges provides a forum for the mutual exchange of ideas and shared governance between UF administrators and the faculty. Modave is director of artificial intelligence and decision-making in the UF College of Medicine and associate professor in the department of health outcomes and biomedical informatics.
