Potential Phishing Scams

Any email requesting password or other personal information should be taken as a potential phishing scam.  Do not reply to the email.  UF IT would never ask you to send your passwords or personal information to them in an email.

Forwarded all potential phishing scams to: abuse@ufl.edu.  General questions or concerns related to IT security can be sent to: security@health.ufl.edu.

An example of an email phishing scam:

Subject: UFL.EDU Internet

UFL.EDU Internet wish to inform you that there is a congestion in your account, this is due to
Phishing mails and
Internet spam.  You have been contacted so that you will confirm your account to avoid losing it to Internet spam.  Please
fill the Technical Help Form below and send it
back to enable us update your account.
