Three Pediatric Workgroup Projects Funded

The University of Florida’s Department of Pediatrics, Department of Health Outcomes and Policy, Institute for Child Health Policy, and Family Data Center recently reviewed applications for the creation of three workgroups focused on intervention studies and health outcomes in pediatric research. Research proposals receive funding of up to $10,000 to be used within the 12-month award period. The funded projects included:

“The pediatric workgroups represent a way to build collaboration between health outcomes researchers, pediatric clinicians, and faculty across the University of Florida,” said Mildred Maldonado-Molina, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Health Outcomes and Policy. “These projects are the first wave of our efforts to leverage new collaborations and to spur new research to improve children’s health.”
